A band built for the stage

Propabanda East Collective is a five-piece folk band from Warsaw, playing since 2011. Balkan and Gypsy music in modern arrangements - a format proven on club and festival stages across Poland.

Our repertoire blends energetic folk with dance music in the spirit of Goran Bregović, Disko Partizani and “Bella ciao” - a set that keeps the crowd with us from the first song to the last.

Concert format

• A full 60-90 minute set, or a shorter festival slot
• Live horn section: trumpet, saxophone and clarinet

Who books us

Bookings for concerts and festivals most often come from folk and music festival organisers, clubs running regular concert series, booking agencies looking for a band for a specific date, and community centres planning something bigger than a standard city-day event. A folk band with a live horn section works just as well as the headliner of a smaller festival as it does as a strong slot in a bigger event’s programme.

Repertoire for the festival stage

We build the set so the energy keeps rising from the first minutes - modern folk arrangements, Balkan and Gypsy music, purely danceable moments interwoven with tracks carried by a strong horn-section melody. It’s a repertoire for an audience that came to have fun, not just to listen.

Do you need your own sound system?

For most club and festival stages we use the organiser’s sound system, per the technical rider available in the press kit. Details are always worked out individually when confirming the date. For smaller events we use our own full sound setup.

Do you only play dance music?

Our concert set combines purely danceable tracks with more atmospheric, ballad-like moments led by the horn section and accordion - a good festival programme needs both.

We play all over Poland

Since 2011 we’ve played hundreds of shows - including Warsaw, Katowice, Bielsko-Biała and Inowrocław.
